“Infiorata” of Spello is the representation on flowers “carpets” of images mainly sacred during the Corpus Domini, a traditional religious festival. Florist masters challenge each other with creativity and quality in a tradition that interest a whole village and that request months of preparation of flowers.

“Corsa dei Ceri” of Gubbio is a religious race in which three candles, symbol of the city, crowned with saints are carried on the shoulder by individual “ceraioli” through the streets. A race that represent one of the most ancient italian folkloristic event and for this the three candles are also the imagine of the flag and “gonfalone” of Umbria.
